Commonly Asked Questions

What kind of food is served onboard?

For day sail trips we have a fixed BBQ steak menu but we accomodate that menu to food preferences or allergies if planned before hand. Some additional costs may apply. For overnight trips, we have different types of menus available that can be coordinated with the captain.

Are alcoholic beverages served on the boat?

Yes, they are included and provided by us in our day sail trips and overnights.

What time can we board?

Boarding time is at 9:45am on day sails and 8:30am on overnight trips.  For sunset sails or dinner cruise, it is planned with the captain beforehand.

What should I wear?

Due to limited space, you should consider soft-sided luggage for overnight trips and soft sided beach bags for sail trips. Bring casual wear and cream sun tan lotion. You are recommended to bring your own beach towels.

Snorkeling equipment is included on your trip, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.

Is smoking allowed on the boat?

Yes, smoking is permitted as long as it’s outside on designated areas of the boat.

What is the easiest way to get to the Marina?

Villa Marina is 55 minutes away from San Juan International Airport by car. We can provide a pin before hand or by searching in Google Maps “Sail Puerto Rico Charters” in the Fajardo area you are able to acquire the pin.

Can I join other groups?

We only do private charters.

Are guests required to work on board?

For those who’d like to get involved, we are more than happy and ready to instruct you in hoisting and setting sail but the main rule here is to enjoy your sailing trip with us!

Do you take children?

Yes! Everyone is welcome onboard.

What kind of safety equipment is on board?

Our boat is equipped with US Coast Guard required safety equipment.
